I have been out of town this week, so not much riding to get ready. Today Vanderbilt had a late afternoon football game. I only made the tailgate then hit the road for my 2 hour drive to Crossville, TN to Cumberland Mountain State Park.
I have set up my tent and found some friends last year.
We will have a riders meeting at 6:00 to explain the rules and give directions for the week.
Wow, OK. Wake up tomorrow at 5:00 a.m. Need to take down tent, pa k bags and move the car and have the bags to the drop off for the truck to get them. With tomorrow being 9/11 they are having a special program with the local police and fire department. So we need to have eaten and ready to go by 6:45. Should be a great day.
It's 8:00 pm and I have done almost everything, including moving the car to the designated parking area for the week. And it's been raining for 20 minutes or so. I guess we are going to test the waterproofing on the tent tonight. LOL. It's a little warm in here all zipped up, so we are going to test the ventilation and attempt to not let the rain in. And now a car alarm is going off. Hope we get all of this out of the system tonight.
